Influence of the Media Assignment
Film production company Killing Us Softly (2010) sends the message the media and advertisements are attempting to paint a photo of the world that just isn't accurate. The movie talks about how pictures of people, specifically women, are changed and modified electronically so that the women who view it will feel inadequate. The media will likely then bombard us with these types of advertisements trying to create a social norm and setting a standard that seriously isn't possible at times. The principles the ads try to transfuse upon the world are that it is more important to a person to experience a good outdoor, rather than a great interior. The earth is consequently taught to hate all their bodies and the way they are in order to be a better consumer of products to counteract these various insecurities. Companies in that case turn the earth into a giant yellow site by filling ads all over the place you look, therefore it is harder to escape. (154 words)
For me personally, I think the effects of advertising and the media altered what I thought the ideal ladies looked like and acted like. I think the moment everyone begins to discover a in girls (or men) they start to have a mental check list of desires and demands. Because of the mass media at a age I believed that I was supposed to just like tall, big breasted girls, who appreciated sports, ale, and running because all those are the items that I enjoyed and points that young ladies in videos I appreciated. As I acquired older We realized that outer beauty can easily fade with age for the women I used to be interested in along with myself. Interior beauty however , seems to be the thing that I have most sought after since it still continued to be after all has been said and done. I feel that because they are interested in a women's persona has consequently made me even more desirable since I are no longer simply a shallow d-bag only considering one thing.
