This leaflet describes UNIDO's " Rural and Women Entrepreneurship (RWE) Creation ProgrammeвЂќ, which can be managed by the Small and Method Enterprises Branch. As a core contribution of UNIDO to poverty decrease, the program supports rural people and females in their aspirations for gumptiouspioneering, up-and-coming initiatives. People living in the rural peripheries, and especially women, make the burden with the world's low income, particularly in the Least Developed Countries and sub-Saharan Africa. They have been deprived for too long from participating in the opportunities and benefits of financial growth and globalization. Lowering urban-rural disparities and gender inequalities is a crucial factor for any poverty
reduction strategy. Mobilizing the productivity of rural people and particularly of women is definitely indispensable to offer the resilient economic growth which will pull people above the low income line. Consequently , the RWE Programme aims at promoting a conducive business environment including building institutional and human being capacities that will encourage and support the entrepreneurial projects of country people and ladies.
